President: Pamela A. Witmer

Pam Witmer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council. Pam is the chief lobbyist and chief spokesperson for the association. She joined PCIC in April of 2000.

Pam is PCIC’s second full time chief executive and she is responsible for a staff of 3 full time employees, various contractors and an annual budget of approximately $350,000.

Pam is also the director of the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Education Foundation -- a 501(c)(3) established to provide funding and direction for collaborative efforts among government, the education community and the chemical industry. 

Previously, Pam served the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection as the Legislative Liaison. She was also a lobbyist for the Tive Group in Harrisburg and a Research Analyst for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Pam earned a B.A. in Public Service from the Pennsylvania State University. Pam has been affiliated with: the Historical Society of East Hanover Township, South Hanover Elementary School PTO, Pennsylvania State University Alumni Association, YMCA Youth and Government Program and the Escape Center for Domestic Violence.
